Today we’re exploring the abandoned Charnwood Hotel near Blyth, Nottinghamshire.
Once a popular hotel, restaurant, wedding venue and conference centre, the Charnwood Hotel welcomed guests from across the country before eventually closing its doors and being left abandoned. What was once a busy destination now sits empty, with years of neglect, vandalism and damage taking their toll on the building.
Join us as we explore the abandoned bedrooms, function rooms, bar areas, corridors and everything else left behind inside this forgotten hotel. From signs of its former glory to the extensive vandalism throughout the site, there’s plenty to discover inside.
During our visit, things took an unexpected turn when a member of the public spotted us and called the police. We managed to finish up and leave before they arrived, but it certainly made for an interesting end to the explore.
